Would BoB be a nice addition to the Saints?

Let's say Pete Carmichael gets fired, or more likely follows Payton to whereever -- BoB would be a nice adult in the room, and a logical midseason replacement for Dennis Allen next year.

Alabama fans may pass out from the lack of blood to their brains if they get rid of BoB and Golding in one offseason

We have nothing but adults in the room. People say shite like this and it has no meaning.

To lose Golding and BOB would be like Christmas.
The program would be revived and the fan base reenergized as no Bama fans believe we will be anything but sub par as long as they are around.
No more throwing 3 straight passes with first and goal at the one and no more dropping will Anderson into coverage on 3rd and 9.
I’m all in

We will be celebrating like we just won a national title.

Compared to the last decade for Alabama, yes

It’s a little deeper than just losing 2 games on the last play. Defensive failures throughout the Tennessee game (namely failing to adjust to the deep ball to #11) put us in the position that it came down to the last play.

In the LSU game, we failed on both sides of the ball throughout the game, putting us in the position to have to try to win it at the end again.

Alabama’s defense has clearly stepped back from where it was under Pruitt or Smart. Certainly opposing offenses deserve credit, but Alabama’s defense is now struggling with basic things like busted plays and tackling. That goes back to coaching, and with Golding as the DC, he shoulders the heaviest load of the blame.

Oh it’s happening. BOB isn’t even under contract anymore, he had a two year deal. He’s gone.

Based on his more recent experience in the NFL, the only reason to bring in BoB is if the Saints are interested in a fire sale. So, could be a good fit.
