I originally predicted Muschamp when Harsin was fired and it could still happen. Who knows.

I think Caddy could be possible, if he keeps it close vs Bama.

Is he officially staying at Ole Miss? I don't always trust what coaches say. Riley said he was not going to be the LSU coach before taking the USC job.

I believe he said…Unless something substantial changes, he was staying at Ole Miss. I’d imagine something substantial could change.

Yea I read him saying that as giving himself an out for when he leaves for Auburn.

Watch his post game news conference.

He didn't dance around it. The media pinned him down on multiple occasions and he said he would be back at ole miss next year numerous times.

Went after reporters as well.

He staying.

Has he specifically addressed the auburn job?

If not then I’ll wait and see what happens this weekend. If by Monday he’s still Ole miss coach then I’ll believe he’s staying

Until then I tend to think you guys are hellbent on hiring a poor man’s Malzahn.

I'd honestly be shocked if anyone hired Muschamp as a head coach again. Especially at this level. He's failed twice at it. He's solid as a defensive coordinator.

He kinda looks depressed like he’s stuck at OM to be honest.

I like his coke bottle on the podium like Saban does. His trolling is masterful. He does it where you have to look for it but it will be there.

I still think it’s 50/50

Auburn has paid 40m for 2 coaches to go away in the last 3 years

They can’t f this hire up.

Listening to Greg McElroy and Cole Cubilics morning show and Mac said he’s still doubling down that Lane will be the Auburn coach by Sunday

Said it wouldn’t surprise him if it’s announced today.

Kiffin has yet to beat an SEC team with a winning conference record.

Like the entire fan base fricking hating him now? That’s pretty substantial

Auburn doesn’t want to win if it can’t put aside whatever issue anyone over there has against H. Freeze. He would provide everything you need, plus some things you might like and want (wink) but he would do it long term.

Now you see why Auburn didn’t put to rest the rumors of Kiffin while they were negotiating with the real candidate.

In the video, he was asked, "If Auburn offers you a job, do you anticipate being the Ole Miss coach?"

His reply was, "I do."

Not that it means he won't leave but that would be pretty bold to say before leaving.

Verging on "pine box" bold at this point.

Yep, it's not Saban, "I will not be the HC at Alabama" bold, but strong.

The only way I could see things changing is if, the fans and AD turn on him. Still it would seem AU has already went in another direction, so the bridge is gone.

I could see Lane taking another job, if that happens, depending on what comes open.
