If he doesn't end up taking the TCU job (between Napier & Dykes), VA Tech seems like the logical choice.

Because it's extremely unlikely he gets the job. Sorry, that's just the reality of the situation. If he was at Troy, nobody would even be bringing his name up. See Jamey Chadwell, who has a better resume, and rarely gets mentioned.

Because the deal is done assuming Riley and Jimbleaux turn it down. Napier knows it and is perfectly fine with it. Woodward is doing due diligence to cover his arse for the “mulkey type of hire” by the big donars. Napier must sit in the corner and wait patiently for his snack…. According to my sauces…
