Who knows, really? Sexton is going to make sure every one of his clients has their name floated for the job or a job coming up.

Yeah. Could be a Denbrock situation too where it looks all good, then, BAM! He gone.

If this goes into the weekend that's not a great sign, and if it goes past Monday then I think Bama will really be in a panic. I know it hasn't been that long but with how many coaches were extended the past couple of days, their homerun hire list of candidates has really dwindled.

They are saying they never offered any of these coaches

It is probably technically true. But they had discussion and it’s one of those “if you want it we’ll make you an official offer” type things. That way Bama can’t say they were formally rejected.

Do you think UW will outbid UA? He may stay for other reasons but it wont be for just money

Maybe he really wants the NFL. Maybe he sees an easier path to the playoffs through the BIG.
Maybe he doesn’t was to be the Bama head coach but still have to answer to Saban

These are some of the wealthiest companies in the world. And they are not headquartered in Ala bum frick Bama.

Okay these companies are headquartered in Seattle along with many others.

Do any of these companies have a tie-in to UW?

Have any of these corporations participated in NIL deals with UW athletes?

Do any of these corporations support UW athletics?

Just a note: None of the minds (founders) or big money people of the three corporations you named ever attended UW.

No but many, many, many of their high level people do or did.

Short story, there is a lot more money in Seattle available to put into Coach salaries and NIL than in Tuscaloosa.

The way that every professional job operates. You have to verbally commit before you receive the official offer.

You act like we are settling for 5th place on a list of coordinators and mid majors. Our list of candidates has basically been all of the playoff coaches or anyone who nearly made it.

Id rather aim high and have Texas or FSU’s coach say no than not call at all.
