Sark sets the bar pretty high. Doesn't mean that LSU will make a bad hire. Also, how to measure; Bama is a juggernaut.

Saban is the best coach in college football, maybe ever.

But his advantage is in program building and recruiting. He's not some master strategist. He makes boneheaded calls and decisions just like all coaches.

He just wants to out-talent everyone and it works.
