Under Deion Sanders, Jackson State has won all eight of its games by an average score of 40-9. Amazing turnaround job he's done there. JSU hadn't had a winning season in the six years before Sanders arrived.

Easy to do when you have a bunch of Division one players going against sub FCS talent. It won’t be like that if he goes to a SEC school.

Ya cuz he won’t get more recruits at an actual school. Jfc

Idk about y'all, but I just don't buy the Deion hype for a HC at all. I don't care how great you are at playing, it doesn't mean anything about how great you'll be at coaching. His official coaching resume is not nearly long enough to warrant a top tier program hiring him. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to watch that experiment no matter who gets him. And I'm sure there are a number of mid tier schools that would do it just for the immediate surge in recruiting that could be a game changer for them.... but, I'm just surprised to see so many people on td fawning for him.

Sure hope we see it for posterity, though.

I could see south Florida this year (if prime is ready to go) or Florida state after next year (if prime decides to stay and norvell has an average year).

At a SEC school like Auburn he would likely get top 3-5 SEC recruiting classes. Right now he has the equivalent of a middle of the road ACC teams class going against sub FCS teams. It’s a different game when your players are not overmatching the other team by a wide margin.

I'm of the same opinion. I guess I could see the hype if FSU had a vacancy because he's an alumnus but seems like an awfully desperate move otherwise at this point in his career.

feels like Arizona State is the best fit. Don't see him going to Auburn. Too many people there trying to control him.

That I think would be best. Level of competition would be lower, and he’d recruit well.

Recruiting isn’t the issue. Is Deion capable of the organization and 100% focus needed to build and run a top tier power 5 program.

Texas A&M will get him.

They will pay Jimbo his 86 million and then sign Prime to a 15 year, 500 million deal.

Everything guaranteed.

Because as Aggie has shown, all it takes is getting in recruits.

Completely agree. The hype is off the charts, but he’s very much unproven.

This seems like a good step up to continue building out his coaching resume.

USF has been a disaster in recent years, so let him work his recruiting skills there and see if he can build a winner at the FBS level.

If it weren’t for the academics, Georgia Tech would be the ideal situation. Low expectations and the ATL hotbed would be a good fit for his first P5 position.

Not sure if he is ready for an FSU yet, but I do t think they could chance that he’d be available the next go round.

Usually in a sweepstakes you win something that you actually want. I don’t think he’s even on a SEC teams radar.
