Who is the top Mike Leach disciple you would like to see as OC at LSU?

Always wanted to see the Mad Pirate offense at LSU, paired with some of our top defenses.

I'd still like to see a version of his offense under BK.

Defense slips with an offense like that

Air Raid works well for teams that can't win with talent/scheme. Instead they run a system that utilizes quick reads and an emphasis on quickly moving the ball to give the defense little time to react and wear them down. It's a gimmick.

LSU already runs a lot of air raid concepts

I’d offer that the Air Raid is a scheme, and used to overcome the talent gap.

Either of these two Leach disciples would be a step up at OC.

Right. Not sure how it's any different than the service academies running option.

It's a real offensive philosophy that keeps less talented teams competitive and wins games. Nothing "gimmick" about it.

Riley's offense has only been marginally better than Sloan's this year, this fanbase would crucify those results.

It's Brian Kelly's offense, Brian Kelly's playbook and Brian Kelly's scheme. You're not going to get an OC come in and run something different from that as long as Brian Kelly is the head coach.

I’d rather see someone run A-Gap power and trap out of the I 30 times a game than Air Raid.

I always wanted to see the Joe Brady offense again. It set NCAA records at LSU and nobody could stop us.

If we could just get that RPO thing clicking again with a five star QB that doesn’t take more money somewhere else and go flop and hold a clipboard like Walker Howard did or Bryce Underwood probably will.

None of which LSU has.

You aren't seeing the Jor Brady offense again without a group of NFL all-pro receivers, the legitimately best O-line in the country, the perfect back for that scheme, and a once in a decade qb.

People say Orgeron caught lightning in a bottle, well, Joe Brady certainly did too.

It takes the right OC to know how to use the talent so they can produce and become the best at their positions. Joe Brady was that dude. Those players caught lightning in a bottle.
