I'll be honest, when that clock hit :00 Saturday. I was all in for Jimbo as the number 1, but if we couldn't obtain him, i was down for O. Now, I'm ok if he left for another job

I thought it was a mistake to ever consider him. He just has done nothing to warrant a head coach job on the level of LSU.

Always only as a last resort, fall back option. As a primary option NEVER WANTED HIM!!! Did not want him hired initially because quit frankly I though he would get us in probation within a couple of years. That has not happened and I am no longer concerned about that so much.

Immediately, but it's not personal. If you're gonna fire Miles, it better be for a proven record.

I was skeptical of O from the second he started coming onto the radio here and gave them inside information on what was going on at LSU. He tried to leverage the media to getting offered the defensive coordinator job. He tried to leverage the media into getting the head coaching job. He's been scarily ambitious in what he was doing. What's crazy is that it was working, at least among the fans. They now believe he is an LSU guy. They believe that he lets coaches coach. That's he's a less meddlesome Miles. He's basically a homeless man's Miles, but he has better PR.

I'm still not until the big names tell us no. He is just clearly not the top option.

I wanted him to be our interim coach after the Wisconsin game but not our HC. I think he's been a good replacement for Les this season, and he's the guy I wanted just for that.

This situation is why you make BDP your interim coach. He isn't viable if every current Head Coach says no.

This. The fact O never even considered Harris when the team needed a spark shows how closed minded and unimaginative he is.

when I saw that he was 3-21 in conference at his only prior permanent HC gig.

When I saw Fournett change out of street clothes and put on his uniform v Florida.

When I realized that they were actually considering him long-term.

Bama game, I mean I was on the fence after the first 3 games. If we lose that game 24-17 or any alternate world where we score some points and really put pressure on them and then win out; I would still have been on the fence. But would have been okay with giving him the shot. Now after watching the lack of focus and attention to detail in that loss to Florida there's no way I would give him the keys. I hope he stays on though in his former capacity.
