What would you say are the chances Rich Rodiguez gets fired?

in all honesty...it depends on how "available" Jim Harbaugh is...
if he is available or interested, 100% chance that RichRod is gone..

I think Jim H. is looking at San Fran as more of an option.
It could be interesting, I think Les will get some sniffs if even from Alumni who were pissed about how things went down last time.
IMO Rich Rod is gone, they waiting till after bowl game is a combo of them testing the water with Les or Jim and the buyout drops drastically after Jan 1st.
Losing to Ohio State all three times and Mich St. all three times does not bode well for Rich Rod.

I don't think he should be fired. We all saw the potential of his offense this year with Robinson. With that said I think there is a 75% chance he is fired.

Best O in the Big 10. Unfortunately, they have the worst D in the Big 10. A new DC will fix that, then Michigan is back in the hunt. They're going to give him on more year to reach 9 or so wins, which will come easy with even a mediocre defense.

If you look at what he did on offense this year, and then look at what he returns on offense next year..you would think under 50%.
If he doesn't contend next year, 8 or 9 wins hes fired.

He is not what Michigan was expecting when they signed him. His W-L record with that abysmal schedule is not acceptable.
Don't give me:
"The cupboard was bare" - Michigan had more talent than most of the teams they played the last 3 years, regardless of superstars.
"It takes time to adapt to a new offensive scheme" - Still should be winning a minimum of 6 games.
Rich Rod needs to find work elsewhere.

I would say none.
There was massive improvement with the offense. The defense was an abortion but I think he will hire a new DC and that will be enough to keep his job.

His offense rolled up impressive #s against shite teams, but didn't do much of note against the better teams

and I think its 100% right now and they are allowing harbaugh or maybe miles(slim chance) to coach their bowl game and allow the buy out to go down. jmo

He should have altered his offense to fit the players he had availible and implemented more of it as he got the players needed to run it effectively.

Last time the BOT at UM had authorized the AD to tender an offer to Miles when the job came open... one of the BOT members, or one of their contacts, had leaked that info to Herbstreit - BEFORE MILES EVER GOT THE OFFER.
And we all know what happened from that point on....

this. Harbaugh reportedly wants the NFL and his stock is currently through the roof. his brother's success at Baltimore actually makes him more attractive to the league, IMHO. i don't think either Michigan or Harbaugh wants a 2 year stunt in Ann Arbor.
