What should we expect, what do you hope for? Personally, I feel like we go 9-3, and I would be ok with it, what about y'all, what do you y'all think?

9-3 is realistic with your QB coming back

Well since we were a few plays away from 9 and 3 with a doofus for a head coach and half a team, I expect to go at least 10 and 2 next year.

Just want to see improvement on offense. Better play design. If that happens, wins take care of itself.

8-4 would probably be the expectation for a $9.5m coach’s first year taking over the circus

9-3 means we lost to Bama and got outcoached by two other teams with inferior talent.

Unfortunately, he probably won’t make it out of the Spring game without someone wanting him fired. With that said, I think 10-2 or 9-3 is very achievable next year.

If everybody comes back besides Ricks, TDP, and Clark, and Kelly can supplement the OL specifically and a few more roster holes with the transfer portal, we have the talent to make a run. Our freshmen WRs may be the best class ever, and Boutte could be a Heisman candidate if he stays healthy. He’s that good. He’s capable of having a Chase ‘19-like season if we get good QB play. 9-3 wouldn’t surprise me. But neither would 11-1.

Schedule for 2022:

SEP 4. vs Florida State
*in New Orleans, LA
SEP 10. vs Southern
SEP 17. vs Mississippi State
SEP 24. vs New Mexico
OCT 1. at Auburn
OCT 8. vs Tennessee
OCT 15. at Florida
OCT 22. vs Ole Miss
NOV 5. vs Alabama
NOV 12. at Arkansas
NOV 19. vs UAB
NOV 26. at Texas A&M

The four out of conference games should be won. The SEC schedule is fairly challenging though.

4-4 or 5-3 in conference seems like a reasonable expectation (meaning an Aggie type 8-4 or 9-3 regular season).

Every team in the SEC West should be better next year than they were this year. But math doesn't allow their records to reflect that outcome.

I’d be thrilled with 9-3. Ok with 8-4.

I'm good with 8-4 not counting the bowl, but honestly it's not about what the end result is. Next year, it's about how we get to the end result. That being said, .500 should never be the standard at LSU. Saying 8-5 used to be like a 4 letter word around here.I'd like to be back there as soon as possible.

ETA: FTR, I think we do better than 8-4. I think 10-2 is doable depending on how the roster shakes out.

I hate to put unreasonable expectations on a coach, but these are the facts. Eta - I'm kidding, no I dont

10-2 for me. 9-3 if we are really competitive and just have a few bad breaks
