You are talking as if he actually needs to work. The man made a lot of money as a coach. If he ever gets tired of McAfee and the Gameday, he can walk away and fish the rest of his life. He would not have to do anything. Only way he ever coached at LSU is he wanted to coach again. Nothing that happens on the Gameday set will force him to do anything.

Bingo, if he says on gameday, he's just a relic. Word on the street is that he denied the HC job offer last night. If the gameday panel knew that, they would've run with it for content.
I don't think they knew, and Saban neither confirmed nor denied anything on the broadcast. If he had zero interest in returning to LSU and staying on gameday, he would've leaned in for content. He's still at the table.

Saban doesn’t want to coach anymore. nil ruined his advantage and he’s just not that great at X’s and O’s when he doesn’t have a considerable talent advantage
