UT is a tough place to coach. A lot of distractions

This is 100% true. He was a good recruiter at getting big names but they made awful evaluations. I don't know what the hell he was thinking with the lines.

Football just wasn't his top priority at times. Partying, drugs, affair, mocking college kids. I'm not sure you can blame the boosters for that.

Herman deserves another shot. I think he can be like Bert.

He’s a good coach

Who said you were? What you are doing is judging a coach by his failures while ignoring his successes. The point I was making, that you clearly missed, was that there’s not a coach in the world that doesn’t have bad losses on their record and that’s not a reason to dismiss a potential candidate.

He had bad losses every single year he was a HC.

UConn
SMU
navy

Then the underwhelming performance at UT. Herman is overrated.

Hahaha! I forgot the expectations at the juggernaut of UH were undefeated or bust. Saban was 35-24 at Michigan State. He also had bad losses at LSU. And just two weeks ago, our de pleated team took him to the wire. Get some perspective.

It’s Texas. When Strong was first hired he said Texas had a culture problem and he was going to focus on the culture first, and then the wins would come once that is fixed. Herman ran into the same beast, now Sark.

All three guys are good coaches.

Now where else have we seen that before?….ugh.
Our OL recruiting at LSU has been abysmal.

Herman's problem is he's an abrasive a-hole. If he was better at glad handing boosters and had to ability to charm the press he would still be HC in Austin.

Until the CULTURE changes at UT, the problem at UT will persist. They feel entitled and arrogant. They think this all a joke!

That is a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, LSU has done much of the same. Les knew the importance of the lines and always had good D linemen. He feel off on OLine the last 4 years which hurt us bad.

Zero did a horrible job recruiting O linemen from the start.
