someone should update his wikipedia to add 2017 to his years of playing with SF 49ers. He was cut in early Sept of that year, so he still gets credit for being there

became Bama GA in 2019

did he play or GA somewhere in 2018?

probably going to be a world class coach at some point

Son of a coach? Check
Former college and pro player? Check
Played under Saban? Check
Coached under Saban? Check
Coached under Belichick? Check

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this guy is a super star one day.

Closing down the board is the right move if we’ve come to this point

Totally forgot he was on the market. Would love to have him at LSU though we’d never beat out the Pats

He’s basically in the intern stage still.

I remember this guy was a Saints board favorite as a player for some reason.

He just completed his first year as a GA at Alabama.

His brother is an analyst at Alabama. And his father coaches OLBs.

One of my favorite parts about it opening is seeing the largely irrelevant moves that closed it from the year before

When i would watch Alabama games back when he played I didn't understand why he was in the lineup and hoped the Saints wouldn't pick him and they did.

I remember seeing Sal, his wife, and 2 young children wearing Michigan State gear in the College Drive Ruby Tuesday's in 2001 right after he departed Saban's staff.

That incident told me there was bad blood.

Sal has worked for Saban two different stints at Alabama. And is currently on the staff as OLBs coach.
