The way he talked to those players has me thinking he will overhaul everything.
I think deion will have colorado competitive at the very least.
He is going to hire a really nice staff. People think deion is all about flash but he does get the best oit of his players.

had no idea Deion's mobility was so bad.
He has blood clots that affect his mobility. He drives around on a cart most of the time during practice.

This is Colorado's attempt to bypass competing in the NIL sphere
CU has some big time donors and Deion can use barstool aswell..could be nice to see CU back in the mix in the pac12

Who are they exactly? I don't doubt it, just curious if it's anyone national or just local connections?

This will be entertaining. Colorado has managed to screw up every good thing they've ever had as far as Football.

How often do you see this many cameras around following coaches their first day?
All major programs have this and more when new coaches are hired.

I want him to succeed but man. A few things rubbed me the wrong way. Especially him saying out of the gate that his son is going to be the quarterback without even stepping foot on campus. And then saying they have a few positions already taken care of with players they’re bringing with him. If I was one of the players on that team, I’m out. And I get he says that’s what he wants but you need to keep some of those players on for depth

Agree. And if he thinks he is going to take his SWAC team and compete, even in the PAC-12, he won’t last.

He’s authentic and I’ll give him that but at this level he is going to have to put on a little bit of a filter with the media or he will get himself in trouble.
During the introductory press conference a female reporter asked him a question about his coaching style and he said “my coaching style is probably like those boots and jacket you got on. You see how meticulous you put that together? That’s how I am.”
She also asked him another question and he said “one at a time I’m 55 baby”.
I obviously don’t have an issue with him saying these things but the media, especially with how liberal Boulder and the university is, will raise hell about comments like that. Especially if he starts losing

Yea I guess I’m in the minority but a lot of this seems kinda ridiculous honestly
You’d think he was the first African American coach at a P5 school the way he and his entourage are acting

Is he going to hire real coordinators or rely on his BBQ buddies from Jackson? Doesn’t matter how many four stars you can compile if your game plan and play calling is shite.

That’s my thought too. I think he’s going to try and bring a lot of his staff at Jackson State. And if he does that, they will get destroyed.

I don’t know man. The way he’s acting you’d think him and his group took the Underground Railroad to get to Boulder
He’s really over the top with himself.

Colorado doesn’t have the money for big time coordinators. Their AD came out and said they still haven’t secured the money currently to play Deion.

How the hell did they get him to the press conference then?
Posted on 12/4/22 at 8:15 pm to hawgfaninc
That’s going to backfire on him so bad. Colorado apparently has very strict transfer rules for incoming student athletes. It’s going to be a big issue in the portal era with them

Really winning the locker room and getting buy in
