Maybe you should pay attention to the actual facts of the case and not the technicalities of what his lawyer was able to plead the case down to. It’s pretty fricking obvious that Jackson brutally killed a guy and this is just what they got the charge down to.

You’re an idiot! I have known Lance for 51 years. He is far from a garbage human. I would be bias, but nearly every person that has played for him would run through a brick wall for him. His players love playing for him. Everywhere he has gone he has made great improvements in the teams defense ( WKU, Miami-OH, McNeese, Marshall). Yes he did get a DUI when they played LSU. Drinking problem would definitely be an exaggerations. He quit drinking because of that mistake. Regarding Jazen, most are mad because he went to Tenn, including me. His mom was very influential in his decision. He got kicked off with 3 other 5* players for being idiots. He went to McNeese for a year the. To the draft. After he did not make it he went to California to live with his mom. He was having some mental issues for quite some time…. Speculation of CTE from football. Then the incident happened. He was a grown man. Not sure how this falls on Lance? He will do very good at Tulane.

Glad he went to Tenn. Mostly upset that he and Orgeron had him wait until AFTER signing day to flip, stringing LSU along promising to still sign with them. LSU could have signed another corner.
He didn't just go elsewhere, he made sure to screw LSU over twice.
That was why people were sore.
People pinned that on Lance. It is fair considering Lance was the guy raising a kid with such exceptionally low moral character.
People forget he was also involved in an armed robbery his freshman year at UTk. Charges were dropped, because football player.

The problem was not the kid going to the Vols it was Lance making him keep quiet about it and reassuring lsu he was coming here. In the meantime LSU missed out on other options. Couple years later he gets arrested for DUI leaving from a strip club in BR the night before the game. Draw your own conclusions.

I agree about the announcement BS. From what I know it was mainly because his mom was flying in and got delayed, and Kiffin/CEO wanted to screw over LSU with other recruits. It was definitely sh*tty but not like we have never done the same. Regardless does not mean Lance is a POS. “Mean Streets of Welsh”… lol.

Guidry is one of the handful of best DCs in the nation. Tulane is going to wreck shop again next year with him at the helm.

Other than Laura destroying the campus, he’s the one responsible for where McNeese is at right now. The kids he recruited and basically had no discipline in the program. Football team was on probation because something like 60% of the football team was failing school.
It all crashed down from there. Couldn’t keep a coach because they can’t pay them and they can’t rebuild the facilities from Laura.
We will see how long Goff lasts

I remember trying to tell everyone on this board for months he was not coming to LSU and people lost their shite name-calling me and saying I was lying. Janzen was pretty open about it to people around Barbe but would lie to any recruiting reporter about it.

I think Janzen had legitimate psychological issues. I heard he would go days without showering and shite in his Barbe days. He was just always a weird kid who would do what people he consider authority told him to do.

In Viator's last year I was randomly a McNeese booster and attended a lot of the weekly luncheons. Guidry would sub for Viator ever so often and you could tell the room was enamored with him. I was always like "what is wrong with y'all?" but you couldn't convince them he wasn't a superstar prodigal son. I think many were relieved when Viator left so they could hire Guidry.
BOY did that not work out.
