State actually has a lot of 4 star guys on defense. Think it would be fine

Competent DC's like Geoff Collins, Manny Diaz and Todd Grantham have done pretty well at MSU so Pruitt should as well.

AU would outbid MSU and of Lindsey wants to be a head coach AU will be a better situation to do that. I wonder how Pruitt will fair fielding a Defense of mostly 3 stars and juco guys?

Our defense is loaded bubs. Mullen polished diamonds on offense but that defense is pretty stacked with 4 stars.

Worth noting that 2 players currently on MSU's roster were recruited by Pruitt to UGA (Johnathan Abram and Chauncey Rivers), and Abram's main reason for transferring was because of Pruitt leaving.

If Pruitt is the man I wonder if that meanss that Tosh Lupoi(sp) would take over DC for Bama.

I think Pruitt could be a good coach, as long he the rumored temper issues have been addressed and he is gotten better at the glad handing aspects.

Pruitt

Might happen. Would take it if offered.

bring either Chip Lindsey

Won't happen. Has more talent at AU next year, and may have HC opportunities himself this year - certainly will next year.

Billy Napier

Only if he's the OC. If not, he's a strong possibility to come back to Bama (and get paid more than MSU OC money).

Will Friend

Very possible. goes back to college days with Pruitt.

Getting Pruitt / Friend would be pretty solid considering all of the other schools that are looking for coaches right now.

I think on the field he would be great.

I don't know many details but I recall GA fans talking about him going to Richt's house to confront him or something like that.

Who knows if it happened, if it did it shows passion, but maybe passion that needs to be tempered.

But I would think he has been involved in enough big name programs to put together a great staff for yall.

Between Keenum and Cohen, I think they could keep him well enough in check to stay out of trouble.

Yeah. I actually love the idea of the hire and think he could really build on what you already have.

Pruitt is a thin-skinned head case who doesn't play well with others and apparently can't keep it in his pants when it comes to coeds. Moo St. Should do a little reconnaissance at UGA and FSU before they pull that trigger.
