What's with all the trolling on this board? Arkansas will make a solid hire like we do most times and will be back to the 4th place west spot we are destined for. Amazing how many LSU fans feel threatened by the Hogs and insist on trolling us. It's like the cardinals hating the cubs, it makes no sense

Not much hating, really more of a realistic view of things, arky just doesn't like it.

Eh, there have been plenty of people who also don't know what they are talking about as well. Some also don't know the difference between an Arkansas poster and another fan.

I think Arkansas fans are in for a shock. Their program is in such disarray I can't see any up and coming coach wanting to plant their flag in Pigville. They are going to be hiring a coordinator more than likely.

I agree it seems like if Arkansas is having trouble then he'd be a guy who is a good fit.
I know some AU people are keen on him but I just don't see us making that move. I think programs at AU's level would want to see him in an intermediate gig (or just dominating at UAB, which he hasn't). But for Arkansas, it's probably a chance to get a widely regarded guy in the tier below Fleck/Campbell/etc. on the up and coming HC list.

So we'll have to settle for the typical SEC route?
I doubt that happens, but I'm okay with it. It's working out fairly well for LSU, right?

I dont think people understand how much Clark loves UAB either. He is a AL guy, his family lives nearby and he is paid well. They are building him a new stadium and he has low stress. 8 wins and a bowl loss is like a title there.

I get it, but surely being a big fish in a very small pond gets old for a guy with his resume, right? What else is he realistically going to accomplish at UAB? I know he's well liked, but it's in a tiny community of football fans (UAB fans obviously, not Birmingham as a place).

He is not a guy that would command a 5 MM per year salary. I cant see him jumping into the fire for 2 MM per. Outside of the year he had a free check from the NCAA to recruit, he hasn't really won. Just my 2 cents. I have a grad degree from UAB and somewhat follow the program. I am not completely sold on him as a coach, fwiw.

Jesus Christ. PJ fleck is not about to go to Arkansas. And Campbell is in a perfect position to end up at a blue blood in the next year or two. Going to Arkansas would make no sense.
