Agreed - Also, he has not denied it when given the opportunity. Something is up.

In my opinion (as the Harbaughs aren't serious contenders)...Michigan's list looks like...
1. Stoops
1A. Schiano
2. Miles
3. Martin

Miles would not want this to be a leverage situation
I do hope it happens quickly if its going to happen. Hopefully the TAF has already mobilized some back channels and is making contacts with replacements just incase.

If that happens, a lot of Les lovers would become "Michigan men."

Miles is 61 years old...does he have the energy to rebuild a program, fanbase, develop new recruiting ties, etc? Lately, we've shown that we are quick to fire, but you have to remember that Hoke was our 4th coach since Bo. Michigan strives to get a coach for the long haul because we still believe it's an elite program.
If we were to get Les, we'd be looking at another coaching change in 8 years? Roughly. You have to assume that it'll take Miles 2years, maybe 3, to get some serious talent in and start producing...
We're growing impatient.

Fill me in because I'm not from the West Bank. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

why wouldn't les have a quick presser and squash this right now?

its not a bad thing for him, it is a bad thing for LSU. we are over paying for shite results. I just think saying miles wont use this situation as leverage because he is a good guy is foolish considering he has done it before.

That's Michigan's problem right there. Y'all can't stop talking about Bo. This guy isn't Bo, why can't he be more like Bo, this guy has ties to Bo, etc.

Because his daddy use to drive that 1989 POS

My last impression was that he was pretty much universally considered a bit of a dick.
I'd think they would want someone more likable.

Not really. I was merely referencing that Bo was at Michigan since 1969 and we don't go through coaches like a teenager does boyfriend or girlfriend.
Bo had a nice 20 year stint and then we promoted Moeller. Moeller was a good coach, but just made a bad decision. We then had Carr for 13 or 14 years? He had a rough last season and we went to Rich Rod. As a stated earlier, Michigan was moronic in firing him. We jumped the gun way too early....

Now,apparently, Jed Hughes has been named to head the search.
Hughes was a former LB Asst Coach under Schembechler, AD Jim Hackett's position coach. Both are said to be close to Miles.
