Negative 1) If the dollar amount is true, they overpaid grossly, he was the number 60 guy in salary,and no one was beating his door down
Negative 2) not sure his demeanor will mesh well at LSU
Negative 3). His offense isn’t what it was when he was at Cincinnati, hopefully he goes back to something similar
That being said, I do think he’s a solid hire and will do alright but just over paid for him.

The OP has brought out some absolutely miserable LSU fans. You shitheads will complain about anything. LSU is able to pull a coach from arguably the premiere college football program in America and whose coaching record had produced results that are amount the best in upper tier football. A coach that that guided teams to the playoffs and has coached in high pressure environments. A coach who has recruited at a very high level. Here are nugget for ya….Every damn coach has some kind of baggage. If you don’t think BK is an upgrade from CLM or CEO you are beyond. Is there potential for problems absolutely but this program needs some stability right now. Enjoy the ride LSU as you have created one of the most talked about coaching changes in college football history. That actually is damn good press and advertising for the school.

The vast majority of 4 star generals in the US are right near this age

Want to know how I know you don’t understand the representative nature of statistics? He has the #4 class in one year, well before the period is over with a nearly full class and a brand new DC who happens to be a good coordinator. Look at his track record. You don’t understand what you are talking about.
