There’s no smoke from anyone reputable. There’s a bunch of idiots on a message board trying to convince themselves it’s a possibility.

Saban isn't coming to LSU

Give him what he wants for 4 years and promise 30 million in NIL year one and to increase that by 10% a year with him picking the new coach. Would be tough to turn down if he still has the competitive juices flowing

He’s being used to lure another coach.

As great as the melt would be if LSU hired Saban, can you imagine if Auburn hired him?

Oooor, where there’s smoke, there’s a high-as-spicoli coonass with a keyboard.

If Saban was gonna chase #8, he wouldn’t do it at LSU. He would do it to become the only coach to win a title at 3 different schools. So LSU and Bama are off his list of destinations.

I think its well documented now that Saban was not the same coach he was in the 2010s.

His peak was 2008-2021. He was slowly starting to slip in consistency when NIL came into play.

He literally went undefeated in the SEC and coached in the semifinals less than 2 calendar years ago.

The below link shows the current 74 yr old Nick Saban. He’s not coming out of retirement.

But not getting my hopes up

I would hope that, unless you are deluded, stupid or clinically insane, that you would realize with 100% certainty that you simply have no reason whatsoever to even get the smallest glimmer of hope.

Obviously the inner fire isn’t burning bright anymore. Young Nick never used blankets.
