That Locked On douche bag has been off the rails over this. He had John Fourcade on yesterday and no matter what Fourcade said, this douche just refused to listen to anything semblance of reasoning. However, he had no issue throwing out every watercooler rumor he could thing of about Kiffin's exit.

I’ll be honest. I don’t really care what Ole Miss fans are doing. They aren’t relevant enough on the college football scene for me to care. Oh they think they are. Ole Miss fans think Ole Miss is something real special. Unfortunately for them, they are the only people in the world that feel that way. 99.999999999999999999999990% of the world would ask your “what the frick is an Ole Miss”.

They really need to stop this "OM has a chance to win a national championship" crap. Them going to the playoffs is equivalent to the Arizona Cardinals at 9-8 landing a wildcard spot. No legitimate chance to actually win it all.

It is not just this guy though, it is all of their media. Neal McGready slinging rumors bitching about Lane. Spirit Ben guy, all of them. Ben called Lane a "false idol"
They all went from wanting him to stay to completely zooming past the guy that delivered them their best fun in football ever or trying to give all the credit to Golding. Suddenly Golding was running the whole program and is the next Ryan Day/Marcus Freeman. Trashing Lane and his family on a personal level.
It is crazy. I would expect butt hurt but not this level ofmeltdown. "Lane tried to burn the whole program to the ground." All the while, Kiffin continues to be complimentary of Ole Miss.

I never get the ...sometimes they are just "kids" and sometimes they are capable, rational thinking, young-adult business people types capable of making their own decisions for their future AND personal "brand." When they decide to leave OM they will be just poor "kids" taken advantage of by the system. I'm sure when OM acquired players for themselves via the portal they were considered the latter.
