VT Scoop reporting the move. Could mean Elko takes over the defense, which would spell disaster as he already struggles with game time decisions.

LSU took the DC and DL coach from Mizzou last year. Mizzou and Drinkwitz found a good replacement.

there is nothing adorable about it. whether here or SEC rant, if i see a negative comment about LSU's coaching or baker, i don't have to look. he is scorned and thinks they're winning because of their "peak" average seasons versus our "floor" average seasons. we know what our high mark is.....and sadly so does he.

Getting rid of Bateman is a good thing. His defensive calls were awful the second half of the season.

Our defense and DL greatly underwhelmed relative to the talent it had. I doubt we fought hard to keep either

Whatever it was that they did flummoxed LSU enough to decisively grab defeat from the jaws of victory when they played. They may upgrade, but I'll feel better about LSU's chances next season.

It's his defense but he was letting Bateman make the calls. Pretty normal setup for a team so I'm not sure why you think that's some kind of boom.
