Know nothing about the guy but he's done a really good job at a non-traditional power that was a dumpster fire. It's not like there's a deep pool of candidates. Seems like he'd be towards the top of the 2nd tier. So why is it such a consensus that he's a no go?

Dumpster fire also reminded me...really disappointed in the rant. How hasn't butch Davis' name come up yet? Lol. Gruden, del rio , Davis. Isn't that the rant trilogy?

No one gets excited about a coach named Larry.

I like the guy.

He isn't my top choice, but he isn't a "oh hell no" candidate in my eyes.

Winning wise he is having a similar career to Saban.

Good records at schools that wont ever really get over the hump.

I'm not sure if he has won an ACC title yet, but if starts stacking football hardware at a basketball school then he will get the looks.

if we can't land Jimbo, he'd be my next choice. Although, I think things are lining up pretty well for Jimbo to be our coach next year.

he runs a good offense and can coach qbs. Put him with a good dc and he would be solid.

I would be okay with it, many coaches have gone to North Carolina and failed. He won 11 games and got to the ACC Championship game.

Herman would have to make a personal decision NOT to touch the dumpster fire that Texas is. If he doesn't then Fedora with a good DC would be solid.

you really want a gimmicky hurry-up offense that holds the ball 20 minutes per game and keeps the other team in the game every week? and you have to watch your defense give up 30 points or more every week? no power running game.

he's the bizarro miles. excruciating to watch. that ain't football.

I love the guy and think he would fit perfect at LSU

IMO he's the leader in the clubhouse, assuming no O, Herman or fisher

He would pair up with Aranda nicely. The chizz man is not getting it done in Chapel Hill any more.

Fedora is the complete 180 of Miles. You will still have one-dimensional football.

The key is this: Miles would not hire a competent OC. Would Fedora hire a competent DC?

I've said it many times but he is a great candidate. Would love to see him in Baton Rouge.
