Hello, Mrs Sumrall. Nice to have you on the forum.

She is an Auburn alum.

Tulane got gutted after Willy Fritz left

That's not why they had 5 losses.

Loss to number 17 Kansas St by 7.
Loss at number 15 Oklahoma.
Final 3 games were a combination of things.
Loss to Memphis was them exposing our non athletic linebacker plus Hughes was starting to wear down.
Loss to Army was same with Hughes and couldn't stop Armys run game.

5th loss was on the bowl game and Mensah left. We had no real back up and Sumrall gave all the snaps to Ty Thompson so he could have tape so he could transfer out as a qb.

Fritz only had a handful of guys go to Houston with him.

The American championship game could feature North Texas (Morris) against Tulane (Sumrall). North Texas plays host to Temple (5-6) on Friday and Tulane plays host to Charlotte (1-10) on Saturday.

I would be fine with Sumrall.

I'm not looking to pivot from Kiffin just to satisfy my impatience on a week delay.

What if Sumrall is better? I can promise you he's hungry. Or we can just over pay the next guy to rest on his laurels and Joey Freshwater the hell out of Reggies.

Everyone is setting themselves up for a major letdown with Kiffin. I hope we are not putting all of our eggs in the Kiffin basket. We have zero guarantees he will come to LSU and that is starting to concern me. We have to seriously start looking at a backup choice and Sumrall checks all the right boxes...

I’m not sure he is ready for a big time job. We commit dumb penalties and our offense is stupid. If for some crazy reason he stays (he isn’t he is likely going to Auburn) I pray that Craddock gets a head coaching job somewhere else.

I am glaad that he has kept our program going after Fritz left because he has made our job attractive to other coaches who will be looking to move up.

I would rather have him than Drinkwitz.

I saw Missouri’s offense yesterday. It looked way too familiar.

Golesh and Sumrall are the two mids that I’d be ok with. A guy like Sumrall may give you a little more room for NIL money too.

I’d rather take a chance on Eric Morris than Sumrall.

This.

I like Lane but I question if he is worth $90MM

Didn't we learn a lesson after throwing stupid money at BK?

I would hate to have seen our team this season if the Bayou Jew didn't fall in our laps.

Morris can build a qb from nothing.

I think it depends on who is higher in the playoffs ranking. I think we are currently higher.
