Sorry, I don’t follow all this super-close but who was Brian Kelly’s agent?

He sure got an ALL IN offer from ‘Ol Woody!

Trace armstrong.
Coincidentally, he also represents Lincoln Riley

Im his agent.
There was no negotiating, that was just the first offer Woodward put out there.

Geez, that’s like a real estate agent repoing both sides of the deal- How Louisiana is that?

real question is who was Woody's?
Cause if Armstrong was Woody / Kelly / Nuss agent then yeah Landry actually did have a point.

Armstrong and Sexton represent the vast majority of the big names in CFB.

No, he didn’t. If you eliminate all coaching hires that are represented by the same agent as your AD you’re eliminating half of the pool right off the top.

His point was that these agents shouldn't have the market cornered in the first place, not that you shouldn't hire people with the same agents

No, his point was this is nepotism that seeps through LA. The governor pointed this out to spin people up even more thinking Woodward was doing his buddy Trace a solid. The reality is every coaching hire for the foreseeable future is going to likely be nepotism, not just the ones in Louisiana.
They have the market cornered and that isn’t changing.
