I was wondering if LSU ever made a play for him to come back or do yall think Les has made his mind up and is just holding annoucing it and finally what are the chances that it is Tenuta since he hasn't shown up anywhere else?

From Max Howell's show today, Tommy T has a definite interest in Tenuta also and may go after him.

I think it's a smart move by Muschamp to get out of the SEC. He'll have a chance to be the best DC in the Big XII instead of just being one of several in the SEC. Plus I think the Texas job will get him more attention on the national stage so that when he finally gets his chance at head coach it will be at a better program.

I think both jobs are pretty =

Let's see:
Auburn=recruit against Bama for in-state guys
LSU=recruit against nobody for in-state guys
Seems like a pretty easy answer.

Muschchamp made a lateral move. Bo took a HC'ing job.
What is the pay for the DC at Barn?

last time I checked Auburn has a pretty damn good Defense....and had a damn good Defense before Muschamp got there....so I don't buy that answer...
but hey...you are entitled to your opinion

Really? I have always heard how we always pay our assistants quite well.

Link?
Barn has lost some OC and DC's lately, as to the reason why?

well for starters as LSU DC you're pretty much in charge of the D without much interference. I doubt with Tubbs being a defensive guy this would be the case there. also I'm sure the money is better at LSU. I'm not saying you don't pay your coaches well, but I believe LSU ranks 2nd in the SEC among assistant coach pay.
you don't have to get to damn defensive anytime someone says something slightly negative about AU. you are on an LSU board.

Borges was there 4 years....the last two seasons Auburn's offense was terrible. That is why he was let go

nothing official has been reported yet regarding Muschamp. Even if he does happen to say at Auburn, it is temporary. IMO he wants to be a HC soon anyway..

With a NC this year, Bo looks to make around $500,000, thats more than the HC's at most MAC, WAC, CUSA, Sun Belt, etc. schools.

OK how about LSU's last 2 coordinators.
Fisher-has agreement to become a hc at FSU
Pelini-hc at Neb.
If you want to be a HC, come to LSU and in a few yrs you'll get your wish.
