Is there any hope for Memphis? Pretty much all the medium and large cities in the South are complete garbage, and that irks me because I miss home but will never be able to return.

I don't doubt at all as a part of the visit they had a realtor to show them the best places to live. It means absolutely nothing in my opinion.
If I were hosting them, showing them where to live and proximity to schools and LSU would be the #1 thing to show them.

Kiffin doing what he's doing and then choosing Ole Miss will do more for the Ole Miss brand than he could have done organically other than winning a NC.
If you ignore this possibility then it's just your wishful thinking.
