How do we know he can recruit or has any desire to do so?

he didn't really say that
sounded more like "IF Tomlin has interest, LSU should make a huge offer"

I like Mike Tomlin but Ryan is a piece of shite for saying that

Ryan Clark is a racebaiting attention whore.
Say stupid shite, get called out, call everyone a racist

Problem is the NFL season ends so late. Steelers are 50/50 if they'll make the playoffs. Would Woody wait that long? He's not quitting in the middle of the year.

Why would he? He's in the NFL where he doesn't have to. It's free agency and the draft. Recruiting is a year long process that basically never ends and it's the hardest in the SEC.

Someone finally roasted Mascona

Hmmm , there's no row 55 in the North EndZone , Point well made ;)

This Tomlin thing is strange to me. He probably has the most job security in the NFL with the Steelers. Is he interested in moving to CFB in general, or the LSU job specifically?

"Bill Belichick may have legitimate interest in the LSU job."
Or, maybe he doesn't.
See- anyone can play the Ryan Coaching Rumor Game.

I don't think he knows Mike Tomlin wants stay or leave.

Now you're asking about concerns whether he wants to take the job because of recruiting. If he took the job it'd be pretty clear he understands recruiting is part of the package. Watching Tomlin for years his level of drive for his job is pretty clear.

Clark hoping to be the DB coach - God help us!

I thought Ryan was still all "Forks up"?

There’s rumblings about what Tomlin and Steelers in general will do after this year. Rookie QB and New Coach or trade for a potential guy that could come available like Rodgers or Wilson and keep the train rolling with Tomlin

Glad you're not the decision-maker.

How is that any different than all the posters here saying LSU was going to go with a “woke” hire even though they had zero reason to believe it was true.
