Who remember the story of Rich Rod at the UM banquet crying to a josh grobin song?

Also let their DC rub a stuffed beaver in people's faces after big plays

This is either sink or swim time for ULM football. If we’re not competitive in 2-3 years with these guys it’s time to blow it up.

Yep. And he still had the class enough to stick around and coach the bowl game that season. I always respected Rich Rod for doing that.

yep.. especially the way it went down.. left the wilson center at night thought he had the job was reaching out to potential staffers.. and boom the next morning AD pulled a fast one on him. a few very well known NO players were not happy about that... and just think had Dinardo not been so stubborn and taken him as OC then.... Saban might not have ever ended up here... amazing what he has done for Saban's career

Both Terry Bowden and Rich Rod are huge gets for lil ULM. Now I'm interested in who is named the DC at ULM, before LSU names their new guy.

ULM has named Zac Alley from Boise State as DC.

He's bringing his QB son along. Son has two years of eligibility so he'll probably stick around for two.

Ehh he played Saban for one so he would have at least 1 more and possibly another if you think about recruits we lost out on to Saban.

That scenario would have Les up against RR not Saban.

Not saying he wouldn't have faded out any way, just saying they wouldn't fire a guy with 2 or 3 titles mid way through a season. But maybe they would.

I was wondering if I was the only one thinking that.

This just seems weird to me for some reason. Anyway, I hope he and NLU, sorry- ULM, do well. Just don't take any LSU recruits *laughs a little*!!

Wow, what a fall. Couldn't even get a P5 or major non-p5 OC offer.

Dude had plenty of other offers. He’s just always dreamed of being the OC at ULM and once he saw that opening he told everybody else to frick off.
