Sumrall should top the list.

I’d take Chesney as next option. Enough with the retreads.

I think we should make a damn strong offer for Vandys coach.

I mean the dude has VANDY balling out and has brought so much energy to what has been for as long as I can remember just a complete dud of a football program. Let’s snipe that guy and send Vandy back to loserville.

Terrible idea. We know first-hand that a specific QB can make a coach look brilliant, right? Look at Lea’s record before Pavia. 9-27 with 2 SEC wins in three years. In Year 3 alone, he was 2-10 with an 0-8 SEC record.

He could do well as the interem, he could have a favorable contract, he knows lsu and everything in Louisiana, a minority hire, and is loved by players and donors. He's not my choice, but there's definitely a world where he could get the job.

We could hire the middleman and just hire Jerry Kill to an admin/oversight role. He's be our "CEO" coach.

Not sure who Jerry kill is

Give Saban enough to come back for 2 or 3 years

As long as Frank Wilson is never mentioned by Fletcher Mackel as a head coaching candidate for Tulane then I am fine with it! Fletcher was simping hard for him to take over at Tulane.

What about the young guy at Texas State?

He’s like mid 30s and evidently extremely good. I’m sure he’ll be at a big program soon.

This is literally every coach in the history of the game.

It’s already decided. RC Cola is the hire.

Underrated coach who has won at some difficult places to win at. He won 10 games at New Mexico St one year. New Mexico St have had coaches not win 10 games in their coaching career. He has had health issues which have hampered his career.

He got his first road win against a ranked team yesterday. yay.

I agree with you 100%. Kiffin’s record against top coaches is pathetic. His best wins, by far, are against Kirby and Kelly. Both at home. And he always pairs those wins with an absolute failure of a loss on the road. (e.g. UK 2024).

No particular order…

MAKE THEM SAY NO…
Saban
Lanning

Jedd Fisch: UW
Jeff Lebby: MooSt
Brent Key: GT
Jeff Brohm: Lville
Jon Sumrall: Tulane
Alex Golesh: USF
Rhett Lashlee: SMU
Clark Lea: Vandy

That’s a helluva list to start with…after Saban says no 10x to a 5yr-$75M golden parachute ??

If we aren’t getting the big names, I’m down to ride with Golesh. He brings the attitude needed.
