I would be elated if Logan was to become the OC.
There's really not one name that has been repeatedly mentioned that would be a bad hire. Oh, and after watching the Boise State game last night, I think I would be really excited if Harsin (the Boise OC) was hired. Boise runs an offense much closer to a pro-stlye system that I thought. There not a spread offense team, but are very effective.

quote:this. with as bad as the offense has been the last 2 years, how could it get worse? with no coordinator we could get in the I and pound the rock for 200 yards/gm against 11 man boxes. hell- thats pretty much what weve been doing

There's nobody from the SEC other than Malzahn that folk like? Why?

mainly because the other SEC offenses that are explosive are run by the HCs...not the OCs..
Miss State - Mullen
Arky - Petrino
USCe- Spurrier
Bama - McElwain, i believe, has a clause is his contract not to go to another SECW school
Ole Miss- lol
UK - Nope
UT- Nope
Vandy - double lol
UF - Fired Addazio
UGA- ?

So, all the good OC's are in other conferences?

I'd take Bobo from UGA and not ask any questions.

Bobo, regardless of his skill as an OC, is only about 36 years old and has spent most of his career at UGA. Don't think Richt is looking to get rid of him soon. Bobo isn't a retread.

After watching Tulsa last night what about their OC? He must have done something right at half time.

I think any of those mentioned in this thread would be preferable to Crowton. If the reports are true about Tressel leaving Ohio St., what about their offensive coordinator? I don't even know his name, how long he's been there, or his credentials, just throwing it out there!

quote:didnt watch. but like i said... anything has to be better than crowton. and its not like les will allow someone to chuck it all over the yard. he will def have to include some pro style/ power football concepts. at this point. id say its boise st's OC or bust
