He didn't want to be in the SEC. He was not consulted when OU made the decision to go.
He decided it would be easier at USC. He's not wrong. Look at the Cali kids he had committed to OU. It will super easy at USC for him.
Also guys, I don't care about taking lumps. I'm not sad or upset. It's shite timing but whatever. I posted a couple of times today and got busy. Some of you take this too serious.
OU will lose pretty much every coach except Cale Gundy. He's a loyalist. Oh well.

I do have inside knowledge. You'd be surprised. Much better than some of the phonies that have popped up in the LSU search. I knew he wasn't going to LSU. I was right about that.
This USC news came as a surprise to everyone who covers or follows the team. Joe Castiglione found out one hour before it was announced. The players found out when Lincoln talked to them for 2 minutes today and then Lincoln bounced. Bob Stoops had to deal with the aftermath.
Crazy shite happens in the coaching search. This was a historic day to say the least.

I get it entirely, was not happy about OU going to the SEC and felt blind sighted about it. At USC, as I have said in other post, he has the same situation there that he currently has at OU. USC is the Brand in the PAC12, in the current Big12 it is OU and Texas. In the PAC12, it is USC and USC alone.
He has enough recruits in metro LA to build a roster that can go through the PAC12 at 11-1 every year, to 12-0. Easy run to the CFP.
