Let me say it differently, the team quit after aTm scored, then O went 3 and out.

They quit about 4 minutes into the third quarter.

Effort was gone after that

No this is inexcusable. LSU, especially THIS LSU team, is not 49-25 worse than aTm. Not at night in Tiger Stadium either.

This is gross mismanagement and incompetence, FIRE him NOW.

From what I see online, there are only three analysts on the staff to draw from as interims, and only Tim Rattay has offense experience. If you assume Adkins takes O-Line because there is no one else, that would leave Hankton (assuming he survives which I think he will), Rattay, and Kelly as the only people to call plays. Adkins could take O-Line and call plays?

My hope is that Kelly finally cleans house in the Locker room and plays only those players that give maximum effort. I don’t care if they’re a walk on. The message needs to be clear that effort and not money or stars will get you on the field. That is an underlying issue with this team and has been going back to Les. Burrow’s teams were the only exception.

Disagree.

It’s not talent. It’s a dumb scheme that doesn’t win without perfect execution. We don’t dictate. We have no identity. We are predictable. We are EASY to stop.

Plenty of offenses succeed without good oline play

It’s scheme

A mobile QB helps a bad oline.

We saw k-series or two last night where we were getting the ball out quickly and getting 4 to 7 yards per play

I don’t remember seeing those types of play calls again after we marched down the field

That’s on Sloan

I don't get the mentality that the offense is THE problem.

The team played 3 good teams in aTm/Vandy/Ole Miss and forced 8 punts collectively. And a couple of those were after the game was put away (aTm) or when Vandy was up comfortably and played conservatively.

Special Teams are still Brian Kelly-level special.

There's zero upside to this team this year.

Would Pittman risk/sacrifice his buyout money for an interim? The problem we as fans have is that we truly don’t know the financial implications of all these coaches. Often times, Jimmy Sexton has more to say about our coaches than anyone is willing to discuss.

At least they waited too late in the season before they did anything meaningful

I wonder who Kelly would be able to attract as an OL for next year knowing Kelly is on the hot seat. Woody gonna let him pay $2 million for some bum OC to try to save face?

That’s why keeping Kelly is asinine. Every coach in the nation knows Kelly is gone next year. Why would anyone good agree to come here?
