Louisiana kids will never go to Oklahoma regardless. They'll go to Bama, Georgia and Texas A&M before that.
They most certainly won't go to Oklahoma because some back channel contract negotiations happened.

The funny thing is he THINKS his name is bigger than Saban’s. Just wait until he gets his arse handed to him multiple times in the SEC each year. And God please let there be a rotational schedule where he has to play a combination of LSU, UGA, Bama, UF and AU every year. That would be an epic melt.
Jimbo, Saban, Kirby, all of them have been here to steal talent. But when LSU is good, none of them except Saban has been particularly successful.
Bottom line:
With 3 separate coaches LSU has been to 4 championships in the last 17 years. Played in the division that won 10 in that period. Played UF the cross division rival who won 2.
Has had the 4th best winning % since 2000 (OU is 3rd but hasn’t won a damn thing).
If you honestly think this is going to change anytime soon, you fully don’t grasp the monster that was built. If Les Miles and Ed Orgeron can win in BR, anyone can. It is that simple.

Logically it makes no sense for Riley to have a deal on the table with OU and not publicly come out and just announce that. That helps with recruiting more than creating a circus like coaching search!

Yea, I’m sure big dog Riley would hypothetically pull all of the Louisiana recruits to fricking Norman, Oklahoma because he’s rumored to be discussing the LSU job, meanwhile the greatest coach in the history of the sport is 1 state away, left LSU for the pros then chose another program in the SEC west to return to, has the most dominant recruiting run in the history of CFB going, and he can’t consistently pull Louisiana kids.
