One name I’m surprised I haven’t seen is PJ Fleck.

PJ Fleck has been able to turn around a terrible football program and make them a contender in the big 10 West. Winning at Minnesota is not easy because talent is lacking. But he has found a way to be successful there. I’m just a bit surprised nobody has thrown his name around. How would everybody feel about hiring Fleck?

He just lost to Illinois in year 5 to a first year Illinois coach.....

Not saying PJ fleck is my guy, but name your top coach and I’ll find a game they lost that they shouldn’t have.

Losing to 30.5 point underdog Bowling Green and a bad Illinois team takes you out of the conversation.
There isn't enough Flex Seal to plug the holes in Fleck's "Boat".

I see the downvotes but dont understand that at all.
Sure hes gimmicky and maybe too extra but you're absolutely correct in that he has Minnesota football back to being relevant for the first time in 50 years. I think he would do a great job here and would be happy with the hire.

He should at least be given an interview. I think he would do great at a school like LSU. Plus he might be a realistic option unlike some of these white whales that keep getting mentioned

He has been mentioned on here. I think he's a solid coach but not really LSU material. He's not a sexy pick at all. His hire wouldn't make anyone excited so I doubt he was ever on the list.

Brother, I Agree however the majority on this group board hates PJ Fleck. They would rather suck on Jimbo fishers old 1 fluke NC nuts. Been at TAMU 4 years and hasn't even been to a playoff just beats Alabama and LSU one each. If that's bragging rights and waiting 4+ years for returns on investment then ?? ??. I say #1 selection is Dabo #2 Lincoln Riley #3 Urban Myer that's who I think deserves an LSU HC Job or a Fickle and Fleck as runner ups.
