Think about it…. with the A&M and UNC job open, mullen possibly leaving for PSU, WSU already took Leach, and strong rumors about Mack Brown retiring and Dooley possibly being shown the door, OM may end up with a worse coach than Nutt.

All these other schools are better jobs than OM currently, and a lot of them have the same coaching lists as the ones OM is looking at such as Kirby smart, Hudspeth, etc. These coaches would go to another school before OM more than likely.

OM might should of waited till the end of the year to get rid of Nutt, after seeing what coaches are available and what other jobs are open and deciding on their chances at a decent hire. Just food for thought I've been up all night on adderall, not flaming or anything.

After a 2-10 year they may not do much worse.

Or we shouldn't have let him finish the year and announced Mike Leach after the egg bowl. But now we get Larry Fedora as the laughter of every SEC fanbase rings in our ears.

Gary Crowton could revive their offense and lead them to the Independence Bowl

What coach in their right mind would take the Ole Miss job?

If Dooley is pushed out at Tenn, I would jump on him if I were Ole Miss.

Dooley is a good coach and needs more time at Tenn.

I know, right? Who would want over 2 million dollars to coach? Not to mention getting paid that much with pretty low expectations.

I agree. I we weren't gonna hire Rich Rod or Leach, then why the hell did we announce that we were looking for coaches a damn month ago?

It's a good job if we can get the right adminstration in place. But WAOM so I doubt that ever comes to fruition.

Well, I remember a lot of fans of other SEC schools laughing after Auburn hired Chizik

Those other schools may be better a job than Ole Miss, but State isn't a better job.

Ole Miss did the right thing in firing Nutt and will get a better coach than State. JMO
