I’m worried this is where Fritz will end up. Low stress job with reasonable expectations, manageable schedule, and a good foundation.

An old guy like Fritz may not be interested in rebuilding a dumpster fire like Houston.

Johns is a great OC. Elko trusts him and they work well together. If he gets the Duke job, that would concern me if I were an A&M fan.

Elko would have to hire a new OC, which can be a crapshoot for any new head coach.

Fritz should be No. 1 on the list. I can’t think of a more perfect hire.

Does Chadwell have some stink on him? I definitely would have thought he would be snatched up this cycle. Does he have a big buyout at Liberty?

He’s making assloads of money to run the table against a high school schedule. Why would he be in a hurry to leave?

Why would he move further away from family?

Gambling is out of control when people are making bets on college coaching hires

If they don't hire Johns from within Trooper is in line to be interim for the bowl game so we'll at least get that

Liberty is paying him a ton of money, he'll win a ton of games there and he seems pretty pro-god so he fits in well there. He wisely isnt jumping to impossible jobs like State.

I am glad he wasn't interested in State and aggies weren't interested in him.

Duke is never going to hire someone from Liberty

Arkansas and Gamecocks are prime for him next year.

There is 0% chance this happens. I know he was receivers coach there under Roof, but he practically destroyed ECU’s football program and was subsequently fired. Why would an ACC school hire a guy who took a perennial bowl team from CUSA and ran them into the ground?

Liberty may actually be the best job in the country for a coach. Easy schedule, great facilities, competitive coaching salary, and reasonable expectations. Chadwell isn’t going to leave easily

there is certainly an appeal to it. He has grade school kids too.

I love his offense so I wish he'd coach somewhere more visible/entertaining but I could see him staying there for a while

it is not like schools are going to stop firing coaches so he'll have opportunities when he wants as long as he continues to produce
