"Since getting fired at LSU, Les has really had an epiphany on how he needs to open up offensively at his next stop," an industry source said. "He is committed to it."

People complained to him for 7 straight years about this shite. It was the topic of every offseason.
Now, because he got fired, he suddenly realizes he had great athletes on offense?
Man, Miles can GTFO with this BS.

Still won't matter unless he is able to get an elite DC and have access to elite defensive talent.

i'll believe it when i see it but if true this is like when you dump the girl who had let herself go even though you did everything under the sun to get her in the gym, and as soon as you dump her she drops 20 pounds immediately.

Les is delusional. He needs a good psychiatrist.

Ole Les has been shamed so badly for losing his job at LSU because of his awful offensive philosophies that he is now saying anything he can to try and convince ANY university to hire him.
Id like to hear that conversation when an AD asks Les in an interview, "So Les, we know you got fired from LSU because you would not change your offense so what have you done now to improve your coaching on that side of the ball?". "Well Mr. So and so I have watched a lot of tape of some good offenses from around the country and now that I'm unemployed I've realized that even with the winning percentage I have that I cant be stubborn anymore because apparently people wont put up with it while over paying me."

Exactly. It's like the middle-aged divorced guy that's trying to get with a new girl, but his ex told her his flaws. He will try to downplay his flaws and say he is working on his drinking, getting a better job, and working off his beer gut. Soon as he has the new wife in the bag he will go right back to his old ways and be fatter, drunker, and less employable than ever.

Is Cam Cameron available?

People aren't (sic) "urked" because Les wants to get a new job. They're irked because he could still be the coach at LSU if he just wouldn't have been so goddamn hardheaded and LSU could have had more success than they did over the last 7 or so years.
He got carried off the field in his "final game" last season for refusing to evolve on offense only to get a "stay of execution" and CONTINUE to refuse to evolve on offense. Now after he loses his job he's willing to change? If you realize NOW that you needed to change then why the frick did you not do it earlier?
I like Les, but I don't feel bad that he was let go. He was given every opportunity to fix his problem and flat refused to do so.

First, he'd still be coaching if he came to this conclusion 3 years ago.
Second, LSU would have won a lot more games.
I wish Miles luck, but it's gutting to think of what could have been for the LSU program if he'd realized this while the HC at LSU.

if he goes somewhere else and opens up the offense and has success then I'm going to hate him until the day I die
