Not that this is new, but the radio guys are all in on O

Listening to Gordy and hanny tonight and Gordy just said that O reminds him of Pete Carroll at practices. Walking around high fiving players. Can the local media be anymore biased. It's starting to make them look really bad.
We get it, you love O because he's "friends" with all you guys and he hired one of your buddies.
Now Gordy is ripping on herman for tough practices.

Either this is an amazing play by the decision makers to smokescreen, or they've been given the directive to start spreading some positive O PR to get the fanbase to buy in.
Really hope it's not the latter. That's so unbecoming of what has the potential to be a top 5 program.

An AD doesn't line up Jimbo, Herman, Mora, or Patterson only to call them and say, "Well, since our interim beat Bama, our deal is off"

I would hope that would be the case and Alleva would have the balls to say "If you're made I did this behind your back, y'all can shove it up your arse, I just got you your elite coach to carry LSU for the next 10 years"

It really is funny to me how much of what people applaud him for is doing less of his job. He lets his coaches coach! He doesn't practice as much! I mean, I get it, but it's still ironic.

They better watch it when it comes to comparing O and Carroll. USC got hit with probation because of the way he ran his program.

Hanny is all in on anything lsu. All you need to say is lsu and hanny's having an orgasm the same as Scarborough when lsu gets a verbal commitment

What do yall want the media to do? O has done everything right so far so there is nothing negative to talk about.

It's the latter without out a doubt. The fan base falling in love with O is a perfect scenario for Alleva because he gets off cheap and it it's what the fans want. I wouldn't agrees with the hire unless he won out and wins a national championship.

Not his lack of historical success? Not wait and see? Not talk positively about some of the other major candidates who should be considered?
LSU fired Miles when they did because they didn't want a repeat of last year - when he saved his job by winning a game.
It seems highly unlikely that LSU wouldn't be sitting here with exactly the same record going into the Alabama game (if Miles had not yet been fired). Would we have run up the score in the same way? Probably not, but that is not a meaningful difference. The week before LSU owned Missouri Mizzou destroyed a significantly less talented team. It means nothing unless you see it against other similarly talented teams.

frick them. Why pay them one bit of attention? If O is hired, after he bombs out these jackasses will be the first ones to get on their shows and rip him. They can suck it. LSU is bigger than these local hacks, LSU had better act like it and hire a real coach.
