All the Saban talk was very true. LSU wanted and needs long term, which is exactly why they pushed so hard for Lane, but if they couldn’t get him, it was going to be Saban. Saban really does love LSU and he’s close with Verge… and that’s my source before you come after me

Bunch of fake news. Lane Kiffin didn’t care what Nick Saban thought. That’s all Lane being a showman. He’s 50 years old. A man that age, who is a leader, makes personal decisions on his own.

The only time LSU has been elite, was one year in 2019. We came pretty close in other years where we played in the national championship game once or twice. Other than that, LSU has been a middle of the pack and ‘pretty good’ SEC team for most of the last 25 years. We are far from elite.
