If O didn't feel like Canada's offense was not an offense that would get us to a championship then he is right to make a decision to go in a different direction. If he thought it would produce better results, or even thought it took too long for players to figure it out then he is right to make a change. It's his neck on the line. If Canada didn't get along with other coaches which I have read on this board and other places then he has to make a change. The important thing is the next move. Not the last move. He has to get this absolutely spot on. Or its his neck that gets axed. That's why I just don't see this ending up with Ensminger. I may be way off on that but 8th just doesn't seem like that will be the direction.

I’m gonna stop you here...during the Canada interview Canada should have been required to sell his offense to O and Alleva or whoever else ha say in all this shite. At that point it was on them to totally “buy in” to his system and trust both him and his system if they chose to hire him. Then they should have given him total faith and confidence and sold the system to all of the players and all of the coaches. The thing that really gets me is that so many assholes come on here speaking in such absolutes in stating that SE will be promoted, and then flying off the handle with hatred about it. Fits of rage over something that hasn’t even happened yet.

I took a few extended breaks yesterday. At one point I checked in and thought for sure Ensminger had officially been hired based on the topics on the first page. One a-hole had titled his thread “F*CK YOU ORGERON, F*CK YOU ALLEVA!!!” I clicked on it but it had been whacked. I just happened to have perfect timing to actually see it in the short time it was alive. The absurdity on here can be stunning. This board is truly a monster. I know message boards are bad everywhere, but I can’t imagine there is one anywhere that approaches the level of outrage and catastrophe syndrome that this one does. If this were a cartoon, this board would be nearing the point that it would eat itself from within and cease to exist.
