Yep
I just think O was making a point when he said SE name after the aTm game, and not meaning that he wants SE as OC. That started the a wild fire. Now I do like Sterling Gilbert that would be a good hire. Would like to see it happen.

I really don't think LSU could do anything serious as far as a candidate until the legal matter with Matt Canada was resolved

Canada had even better numbers. Who is the Head Coach is the problem, not who the OC is.

I’ll tell you this he comes to BR I hope they get really pissed, cause I think Gilbert could go cherry picking all over Texas for recruits. I think he coached at four different high schools in Texas. I think he would be an outstanding recruiter for us in Texas.

and what exactly did O do to deserve even 10% of the hate he gets here? He meddled with an offense that was having an unprecedented amount of penalties and confusion in attempt to simplify and it didn't work out. He had a 9 win season win season with more mediocre qb play and an overhyped gimmicky OC. So, now he makes a move to right his OC mistake and get someone he feels can develop brennan and narcisse and he is crucified. Did I want or foresee fricking Ed Orgeron as my head coach...frick NO, but this place is fricking insane.
