My understanding is that there is still a search going on right now/ Gilbert likely inter.

Still the same 3 or 4 names that have been thrown. Gilbert and the others.
Doesnt fit the Ensminger narrative at all.
Just letting everyone know. You all seem pretty confident that its Steve and yet Canada is gone and we dont have our OC yet

Gilbert will likely be interviewed soon.
What I know: He is a very attractive candidate to our guys. He currently sits at #768 in assistant salaries, at $100,000. An easy poach, and would likely (if hired) have an easy contract to worm our way out of should the need arise.
USF is sitting at #6 in total offense for the year. And yes, theor schedule is as soft as baby shite, BUT that sits above FAU, run by Briles and Kiff.
Its safe to say that its Gilberts offense. Weve all seen Charlie strong offense. And that isnt it.
I know, I know. Sauces. But everything ive received goes against Ensminger being THE choice.

It just seems kind of strange that they would be doing a search right now. It seems like they knew they were gonna shite can Canada a long long time ago. I would hope that they have been searching for awhile.

thing is that is furthest from simple answer. You would pay a guy 1mil to do a job he publicly said he has no intrest in. When LSU could make a big splash with half that amount of $ and not have fans riot. IT WILL NOT BE ENSMINGER for the love of god
