Ole Miss isn't hiring freeze. The Alumni / Boosters would be incredibly divided over it. Same reason why Auburn, and other big schools won't hire him..

Freeze is holding out for Texas or Texas A&M job

is Kiffin exaggerating the lack of NIL at OM or is it a legit issue there? I would think the lack of a recruiting footprint outside of the state is a bigger issue than lack of money there.

My understanding is that it is a problem. When money could be given under the table it wasent a problem for the car dealership to give all their money to a school. Now that it’s legal the car dealership can’t do it because piss off half your clientele.

Honestly, most would welcome him back. They had all the access when he was here. There is a lot of fans that wouldn’t, but the money people would probably hold the door for him.
