My mind is about to explode with all the Jimbo BS

You people all off your rockers thinking we should pay Jimbo bubble screen Fisher $6MM a year to coach at LSU. He coaches in a weak conference where now he's getting beat by the only other decent school and you want to pay him for that. He recruited an already talented QB in Winston. He didn't QB guru him into a natty title. The kid has instincts most others don't. He's also a criminal so there's that. I'm not above paying the right guy but Jimbo aint it. Herman might be but he's still a gamble. I just don't want us to set the program back for 10 years because of the wrong hire. The money and contract terms are too rich these days. Either give it to O on a short term deal or give it to Aranda. Either one needs a good offensive coordinator.

Jimbo has produced 4 1st round QBs and has top 5 recruiting classes every damn year.

A guy with 3 ACCs champs, 4 division champs, 1 playoff appearance, and a NC is on par with a guy with a BEST CASE 22-33 record if he wins out. All the while, most of those wins came after taking over a team built by someone else.

So a coach who has won a NC as a OC and as a HC and has the 4th highest win % among active coaches is not good enough but lets give the job to a guy who has proven to be a horrendous HC in the past or a guy who has never been a HC..thats a genius take right there.
