Our new coach is already here. Coach Orgeron is the new head coach. he has corrected the problems les miles had. Its as simple as that.

I expect recruits will already know what's going on and I'm sure there will be major back-channeling.
No, this doesn't work. Ask Chavis and his flirting with A&M and the trails that are left, especially with HS recruits on social media. LSU and Jimbo might do it that way, then FSU would turn around and challenge them in court on the $2M.

If this happens, where does FSU go?

Like I said, I know nothing. I would suspect that the AD has his short list. I would assume it contains some or all of the following names:

Herman, Miles, Freeze, Mullen, Fedora

It might even contain Fleck, Petrino, Kiffin, Morris

My top 3 would be, in order - Freeze, Herman, Morris.

If Jimbo came here, would you guys consider Ed Orgeron? It's a serious question.

I seriously doubt it. No HC experience, no ties to FSU or even to the state of FL that I know of. No ties to anyone inf the FSU athletic administration.

Are the Noles happy or sad to see Jimbo gone??

Most of them don't believe he's going anywhere.

C'mon man. You could at least look at his Wiki page.

He was DL coach at Miami for 4 years and HC at Ole Miss for 3.

You either
A) Fell in love with the 1st piece of arse you ever had

OR

B) Fell in love with the 1st decent looking girl wearing a dress that smiled at you after a bitter divorce.

I keep telling y'all I know nothing. Now, will you finally believe me?

(I'm looking for the "embarrassed" emoticon, but I can't find it. I had just totally forgotten about the Ole Miss job. And, I had no idea about Miami. But, on the other hand some would say for all the good he did at Ole Miss, that really shouldn't count. And, those of us in FL don't really claim Miami as part of the state anyway. It's a combination of North Havana and South Brooklyn.)

Before all of that, if Alleva et al learned only one thing from last year, it needs to be that nothing is real until pen meets paper.

I have recently heard the deal will likely be delayed until early January as his buyout drops significantly in 2017 (from $5 million to $3 million on Jan. 1).

Well if you had credibility with anyone...there it went.

If they wait until Jan then they are idiots. There is no way the deal wouldn't be leaked. Then all you do is allow FSU to counter offer making our deal cost even more or worse risk losing the candidate you wanted for a year. Then you are going to be stuck with the consolation prize....

I hope they are not this stupid!!!

Why would the new coach have amything to do with the bowl prep. Wouldn't he start the day AFTER the bowl (except for recruiting?

I forgive you. It has been a while since we hired a head coach.
