I mean, they only won that game against a bad team because an idiot decided to act like a dog taking a piss. Yet the coach goes off on a rant in the post game presser, flexing about how this proves he’s a badass, knows what he’s doing, is in control, and critics can suck it. He even cursed. Everyone was like uhh...wtf.
It just reeked of insecurity.
Not as cringe as Rich Rod’s sobbing and begging to be accepted as a Michigan man while he asked a packed ballroom to all hold hands as Josh Groban’s You Raise Me Up blares from speakers...but still grossly uncomfortable and clear that someone does not have his finger on the pulse of the program.

If Napier wasn't interested in Ark or Ole Miss, I doubt he'd be interested in this job.

You would think. I honestly think the players didn't respect him and his whole rant was in part to show his players how tough he was in order to get some kind of respect from them. It just reeked of insecurity and someone looking for acceptance

Reading on a State board someone commented that Napier wanted extremely too much in terms of job security and thats why it didnt work with Arky.

No good coach will ever retire at ULL. Stepping stone school only

If Napier leaves for a better job, UL and Mississippi State will have pretty much the same track record of coaches moving on. Mississippi State is every bit the coaching graveyard that Lafayette, LA is outside of Dan Mullen.

More money...we made more this year than your entire school is worth.

What the hell are you talking about? If anything it’s OFF. You haven’t kept up much with Moorhead have you?

You're flexing on UL. They would beat y'all.
Go calm down and reassess your position in the world.

Yep, Napier will come for the money. State has money. We are just very tight where we spend it.

But they didn’t beat us. Hell, Moorhead beat them twice. Wait, is that a good thing if we hire their coach?

I never said any different, but MS State is a no-win situation unless he’s hoping to pull off with Bama what Mullen pulled off with Florida.
Meanwhile, possible South Carolina opening up next year, and if he has another 10-11 win season, he can go there in a much more manageable SEC East division.

Coaching UL in the Sun Belt is an opportunity to have success.
MSU's peak is going to be third worst in the SEC West? Probably second worst with Kiffin up at Ole Miss.
I wouldn't exactly say that MSU is a place where an up and coming coach will go to thrive, but maybe they are throwing a ridiculous amount of money at him?

Would be awesome. State needs a culture install.
How does your problem LB stud punch your starting QB in the face to the point he has to miss a game and that LB still plays?

Nice deflection of the point. Your program has been as big of a shitshow as ours for the vast majority of it.

How lucky is MSU that they were in the right place, at the right time to be put in the SEC in the 20s so they could be grandfathered in? Cause y'all would probably be worse than UL right now if you weren't

A damn Aggie opinion? A school who does less with more than any school ever? Because of resources alone their is no damn reason State should have a winning record against the Aggies in football, but we do. I’ll take shite from some programs fans but not the loser Aggots. Y’all don’t have room to say shite.
