I agree. I think GMs and owners are too trigger happy on the NFL. I think keeping a good coach can help with stability. It's the NFL...there are up and down seasons.

It's amazing how the down seasons tend to coincide with crappy offensive line play. The Saints and the Falcons losses to Carolina in the last two weeks were evidence that failing to protect your QB is fatal in the NFL.

Seriously, he doesn't run either the offense or the defense. He's not in charge of personnel. He just seems to have hot ham face and write in his notebook on the sidelines.
