There honestly can't be a town more in the middle of nowhere other than Nome, AK.

1) His last gig was in Lubbock
2) That area is beautiful (been there)
3) Just across the state line it is all mountains, trees, rivers unbelievable.
4) Washington State is a really nice place

So considering he was in Lubbock this place is stellar especially if you like the outdoors, hiking, camping, wildlife etc. Although, it is not the easiest place to get to other than that you can do a lot worse for a place to live and work.

No doubt, they missed the boat. I don't know what the hell they were thinking. I guess it was just too obvious to see.

Good hire for the Cougs. The ante has just been upped for recruiting in the NW.

There are bars in Pullman.

I really wanted Ole Miss to hire Leach. I thought he was the best option out there and really would have liked to see what he could have done. There's still hope but I don't know who I would want at this point. Good luck with the hire Rebs.

Nah forget Leach, word is we're about to offer the job to a pair of Saban's tube socks. They been with the dude like forever so surely they've picked up some pretty good coaching abilities along the way.

When pretty much every opposing fanbase in your conference is biting their nails about the prosect of you getting a coach and you DON'T hire him your dept. is run by a bunch of rtards.

how can you not? he only has to compete with 3 other schools for the pac 12 recruits? he got beat by 3 regularly, sometimes baylor and their level in the big 12 and still went to bowls every year and was competitive.

Rich Rod, Leach, Kiffin, Kelly in the same conference is going to be awesome. I wish Harbaugh was still at Stanford

Is this a question? The bulk of his recruits will come from California, just like the rest of the NW schools and the rest of the pac 12 (except maybe CU).

He does love small towns. He said on his show multiple times that if it wasnt for the fact that he already owned his bungalow in key west he was about to move to some small town in colorado and buy a nice house in the mountains. I used to think he was an odd guy but once he started his radio show I realized that he is so interesting and smart that he is one of those guys you could sit at a bar with for hours just talking about random things and never get bored.

I think he will do great out there and will fit in very nicely. He will win a good amount of games every year and graduate the majority of his players as well. He's mentioned many times that he takes alot of pride in his graduation rate.

On a side note, it looks like Ive already found one of my qb for fantasy football next year

Have a friend that's a WR for WSU and he's absolutely stoked. Bummed about Wulff, but loves this hire.

I am going to miss his radio show, I loved how his co-host covered for him today by saying Leach was on vacation with his family.
