However, I would be shocked if Cristobal left Oregon for Miami
Lol, get ready to be shocked (again).
It has been a done deal for weeks, pretty much.

Cristobal is a fraud. Great recruiter. Completely dependent on coordinators to actually coach.

Oregon has been working on an extension so …

They need to get things straight and spend some money on resources and facilities before throwing out contract money. No coach is going to have success as is.

He'd be such a cuck if it plays out that way

if he’s not already looking for another job he’s nuts.

Yeah, he’s a total cuck. He could leave his HC job at Miami, walking away from that contract, and….what, exactly?

I get staying for whatever cash he is owed, but for Miami to let him twist in the wind like this is wrong. He would be there knowing he's gone after 2022. This whole thing has to be humiliating

He ain’t getting a P5 HC gig right now. Let Miami figure out what they want to do and take the payoff if they want to move on. Anything less is stupid.

I'm sure they will have Cristobal or Kiffin locked up before they fire Diaz. If they can't get those 2 they will keep Diaz. Thats pretty much what the deal is at this point.
Lane has already said yes

Cristobal would be yet another bad hire for Miami.
